A seminar on “Supporting the recovery efforts of the tourism sector in Sri Lanka “conducted by the JICA mission in Sri Lanka was successfully held on 11th July 2019 in the conference room of the Ministry of Tourism Development, Wildlife &Christian Religious Affairs.

The seminar was carried out with the participation of both public and private sector tourism stakeholders including senior officials of Ministry of Tourism, Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management, The Hotel Association of Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators.

This comprehensive session was conducted by the Mr. Masato Takamatsu, Senior executive fellow and Head of tourism crisis management at Japan Travel Bureau Tourism Research & Consulting Co.

All the participants appreciated, the knowledge shared at the session.
