This is a very good situation especially for the tourism industry. If the Covid vaccine is given to all in the country by May, our country will become one of the safest countries in the world for tourists.

At present, arrangements are being made to attract tourists from countries such as India, Germany and Italy. Tour Operators are working in that regard. We have taken all necessary steps to prevent the spread of Covid -19 from the tourists to the society vice versa.

The health authorities as well as the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority monitor whether all tourists visiting the country follow the health guidelines at the tourist hotels where the tourists stay and at the places that they visit.
