The Ministry of Tourism plans to reopen the airport after Covid 19 and introduce an insurance scheme for tourists arriving in the country. The Minister of Tourism Prasanna Ranatunga had a discussion with the representatives of the insurance companies in this regard on 29.09.2020 at the Ministry. They were instructed to submit their proposals expeditiously.
